[ Stockbridge Veterans Day Parade --- Friday, Nov. 10 ]
The City of Stockbridge will host its 2017 Veterans Day Parade & Luncheon, beginning at 10 a.m. Parade starts at Stockbridge Cemetery (4380 N. Henry Blvd). The parade celebrates and recognizes the men and women of service to this country. The parade will take place on Friday Nov. 10 at 10a.m. and the luncheon will commence immediately following the parade in the Merle Manders Conference Center. The luncheon is for veterans only.
[ King of Pops Field Day --- Saturday, Nov. 11 ]
Join World of Pops at their Worldwide HQ, 337 Elizabeth Street, Suite B, and also at the Old Fourth Ward Skatepark Field as they thank the community for the generous support throughout the year. The event will feature live bands, food trucks, games, races, face painting, a Popsicle eating contest and free popsicles. The event will be held from 2 to 6 p.m.
[ 13th Annual Marietta Veterans Day --- Saturday, Nov. 11 ]
Don’t miss the 13th annual Marietta Veterans Day Parade. The parade begins at 11 a.m. at Roswell Street Baptist Church, loops through Marietta Square, and ends between the new Cobb Courthouse and Marietta City Hall. The parade will include marching bands, drill teams, floats, military vehicles and veterans’ organizations. After the parade, pay tribute to the men and women who have fought to keep Marietta and America free during a ceremony on the Square at noon.
[ Marietta Square Artisan Market --- Saturday, Nov. 11 ]
If you enjoy high-quality art in different forms, then the Marietta Square Artisan Market is something you do not want to miss. Witness some of the best art showcased in the booths along Etowah Drive at the Cherokee Heights Arts Festival. Known as the #TheBiggestLittleNeighborhoodFestival, it is just minutes from the Marietta Square. The festival will also feature rock painting activities, jewelry, clothing, purses, scarves, art instruction for small artists, quilts, metal, paintings, oil, live music, food vendors, pottery, gifts for children and more. The event will take will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
[ Dunwoody UMC Holiday Festival --- Saturday, Nov. 11 ]
The holiday season is around the corner, and what better way to get in the holiday season by attending Dunwoody United Methodist Church 26th Annual Holiday Festival. The one-day indoor event will not only feature a juried show of beautiful handmade arts and crafts items by 125 talented artisans, but also a wide variety of other venues. We offer a huge Silent Auction online, Attic Treasures, Book Nook, Casseroles to Go, Breakfast, Luncheon, Children's Activities, Gourmet Shop, Photos with Santa, and more.
