Apraxia of Speech supporters prepare for fundraising walk
The Greater Atlanta Area Walk for Apraxia of Speech is Sunday, September 18 at East Cobb Park. Registration starts at noon and the walk begins at 1 p.m. Register to support children living with the rare speech disorder.

Citizenship Day offers free legal assistance
The Latin American Association, along with several other nonprofits, are offering free legal assistance on Citizenship Day, Saturday, September 17 at the Latin American Association on Buford Highway. The free event begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m., interested participants are encouraged to register in advance.
Fulton County offers free Criminal Records Expungements Summit
A local county is partnering with community leaders to give people with criminal records a second chance. The event is sponsored by Fulton County and Historic Ebenezer Baptist church. The event is Thursday, September 15 at Martin Luther King Sr. Community Resources Complex. The free event starts at 6 p.m.
Eligibility requirements include:
1. Arrests Only/No Convictions
2. Only arrests by Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Fulton County Police Dept. and Atlanta Police Dept.
3. Bring Valid Government Issued Photo ID
4. Criminal Arrest Records for Eligible Arresting Agencies
