EAST POINT, Ga. — An 8-year-old boy was critically injured when a stolen car hit the car he was in, police say.
Police have charged Ana Kristina Bolton with theft by receiving and fleeing and eluding in the incident.
East Point police say the 21-year-old woman carjacked a person at a gas station in Atlanta on Monday morning.
Later in the day, police say their officers spotted the stolen Dodge Challenger at the Camp Creek Marketplace.
Police say she then drove away and they pursued for 2 1/2 miles. East Point police say the chase was justified under department policy. %

The two adults were treated and released from another hospital.
Bolton is behind bars at the East Point Jail.
She will likely be charged in two other jurisdictions.
