Warm fall weather will come to quick end

ATLANTA,None — Metro Atlanta residents will get a dose of fall weather after a weekend of spectacular blue skies and warm temperatures.

The weather is about to shift with a cold front due later this week, according to meteorologist Brad Nitz.

“After a cool Monday morning our high temperature will climb into the mid 80, more than 10 degrees above our average high of 72,” Nitz said.

The cold front will bring a quick end to unusually warm October weather.

“Showers and storms will accompany the front on Tuesday followed by gusty winds blowing in the coldest air of the season so far,” Nitz said.

The second half of the week could bring the first frost of the season to north Georgia with temperatures dipping into the low 40s on Thursday and Friday morning for metro Atlanta.
