Who will be crowned the Female Athlete of the year and win $5,000 for their school?

Montlick & Associates and WSB-TV honor the best high school athletes on the field and in the community with the Montlick & Associates Athletes of the Week and the Athletes of the Year.

During the 2019-20 school year, WSB-TV highlighted 35 male and female athletes who are the best of the best. Now, it’s your turn to vote for the Female Athlete of the Year.

The winner will take home a trophy recognizing the honor, and the winner's school will take home $5,000 from Montlick & Associates.

This year, there will be a Female Athlete of the Year and a Male Athlete of the Year. Voting for the Female Athlete of the Year runs from April 30 to May 7. The winner will be announced on Sports Zone Sunday on May 17. Voting will determine the top finalists and a sports panel will select the winner from the finalists. Past Athletes of the Year include Derrick Brown of Lanier High School and the Auburn Tigers and the first-ever female athlete of the year, softball player Kelley Lynch of East Coweta High School and the University of Washington.
