Winning ticket worth $522K sold in Conyers

ATLANTA — A winning Georgia Lottery ticket worth more than a half-million dollars was sold in Conyers. Texaco One Stop, located at 1827 Highway 212 S.W. in Conyers, sold a Fantasy 5 ticket from the Nov. 29 drawing that matched all five winning numbers for the $522,771 jackpot prize.

The winner, Lester Harris of Conyers, claimed his prize Tuesday at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.

Winning numbers from the Nov. 29 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 18-19-24-30-35.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $14.8 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.6 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.3 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
