Dale Devilli, 63, was found unresponsive in the machine at the Lassonde Pappas and Company plant on Monday morning, NJ.com reported.

He was pronounced dead a short time later at the scene, NBC News reported.

A company spokesperson told New Jersey 101.5 FM, “We are devastated by the loss of our friend and colleague, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.”

Spokesperson Alexander Roberton told the radio station that there had been an accident that caused a fatal injury to the employee.

Robertson did not explain what that accident was.

Officials said Devilli’s death does not appear to be suspicious, but an investigation is being conducted, NBC News reported.

The company produces fruit and vegetable juices, among other products, NJ.com reported.

Devilli leaves behind his wife and two daughters, according to his online obituary.
