‘We’re All Doomed’: ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic mocks presidential debate

Tuesday night’s first presidential debate between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden has been called a mockery by critics, and “a national disgrace” by The New York Times. Leave it to “Weird Al” Yankovic to mock Tuesday night’s war of words.

Yankovic, 60, nominated for 16 Grammy Awards and a five-time winner for his musical parodies, released a new song on Wednesday. Called “We’re All Doomed,” Yankovic inserted himself into the role played by moderator Chris Wallace, using footage from the debate and setting the candidates' answers to auto-tune, according to The Hill.

Both Trump and Biden “sing” their remarks. Meanwhile, Yankovic sings, “Who’s it gonna be/In the West Wing/We’re living in the apocalypse/I’m begging you to put a stop to this/Pretty please.”

Yankovic won his fifth Grammy last year for “Squeeze Box: The Complete Works Of ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic.”

“I ran out of bars, but I’ve still got awhile/It’s time to drop some bars, let’s see how you freestyle,” Yankovic sings during the video.

Yankovic produced the video with the Gregory Brothers, the creators of the “Songify the News” and “Autotune the News” video series, CNN reported.

Yankovic won his first Grammy in 1984 for best comedy recording with “Eat It,” a parody of Michael Jackson’s hit, “Beat It.”
