PATERSON, N.J. — A group of diners at an IHOP in New Jersey surprised their waitress by leaving a huge tip and hope to make the act of kindness a new holiday tradition.
The group of friends met for breakfast Saturday at an IHOP in Paterson, PIX11 reported. Each member of the group left a $100 tip, and with 12 members in the group, the total tip came to $1,200.
One of the group members posted about the experience on Twitter. He said the waitress thought they had made a mistake at first. She is seen posing with the group while holding the stack of cash.
