In a rare move, a Disney park will be closed until further notice.
Officials at Shanghai Disneyland have announced the property will be closed in light of the coronavirus in China.
The announcement was made on the park’s website:
There is no end date listed for the closure.
But Shanghai Disneyland isn’t the only tourist destination that’s closing because of the outbreak.
Reuters is reporting that parts of the Great Wall of China will be closed to visitors.
The same holds true for Beijing’s Palace Museum, better known as The Forbidden City, Reuters reported.
The government has stopped travel from 12 cities near Wuhan after at least 26 people have died and 830 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus, The New York Times reported.
