Must-see: Massive alligator spotted in Texas couple’s driveway

SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio couple were shocked to find an unexpected guest "parked" in their driveway this week – a massive alligator.

According to WOAI, Ashley Sutton, an anchor for the TV station, said her aunt and uncle discovered the large reptile outside their home near Calaveras Lake.

"Ever seen a gator in San Antonio, much less one this big?" Sutton captioned a photo of the unwelcome visitor in a Wednesday Facebook post. "My aunt and uncle woke up and found this guy in their driveway! They live near East Central."

Sutton added that the gator appeared to be 11 to 12 feet long.

In an interview with WOAI, Texas Parks & Wildlife Alligator Program leader Jonathan Warner said this isn’t the first time the “older male” alligator, which is likely in the “10-foot size class,” has been spotted in the area.

Warner also warned residents to stay away from gators and "just use common sense."
