Mother accused of starving baby to death, tossing body in dumpster

SILVER SPRING, Md. — A Maryland woman has been arrested and accused of starving her 15-month-old daughter.

Kierra Tolson was arrested after police were alerted June 8 that she had killed her daughter, WJLA reported.

During their investigation, Tolson told police that she starved Blair Niles for about 3 1/2 weeks. When the baby died, Tolson placed her daughter’s body in a pillowcase and trash bags then put the baby’s body in a dumpster at her apartment complex on June 17, WBAL reported.

The baby’s father told police he last saw his daughter on April 17 and had no contact with Tolson since then, WJLA reported.

Tolson was charged with first-degree murder.

Blair’s remains have not been found, WUSA reported.
