The couple, who previously broke off an engagement in early 2004, have been dating again for less than a year, Rolling Stone reported.

Lopez broke the news in a video clip shared to subscribers of her “On The J.Lo” newsletter Friday, the magazine reported.

The message included a clip of Lopez admiring a large, green diamond on her ring finger, People reported. Her sister also shared the image of the ring on social media, according to the magazine.

Lopez also teased her announcement with a video on Twitter.

“So I have a really exciting and special story to share,” Lopez said in the video, which had the caption, “Major announcement.” The actress directed fans to onthejlo.com. “It is my inner circle where I share my more personal things and this one’s definitely on the JLo.”

The video shows Lopez admiring the ring while whispering, “You’re perfect,” USA Today reported. The ring featured two smaller diamonds flanking the large green diamond.

In 2002, Affleck proposed with a pink diamond, according to the newspaper.

“I always say the color green is my lucky color. Maybe you remember a certain green dress,” Lopez wrote in a previous newsletter, according to Rolling Stone. “I’ve realized there are many moments in my life where amazing things happened when I was wearing green.”

Lopez, 52, shares 14-year-old twins Emme and Max with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, People reported. Affleck, 49, shares three children with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.

Lopez briefly referenced her renewed relationship with Afflect in her recent cover story for Rolling Stone.

“We’ve both grown. We’re the same, and we’re different. And that’s what’s nice,” she told the magazine, adding that “we learned a lot. We know what’s real, what’s not real. So it’s just -- the game has changed.”
