CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Disturbing video has emerged from Thursday night’s Carolina Panthers versus Philadelphia Eagles game at Bank of America Stadium showing what appears to be a Panthers fan sucker-punching an older fan in the upper deck.
In the video, which was posted on Instagram by user "odubco," who was sitting nearby and witnessed the altercation, a man standing up wearing a black Cam Newton jersey turns around and punches another man in the face.
The man who was punched begins bleeding and remains seated while the attacker continues to punch him repeatedly.

As the video spread across social media Friday morning, people were calling for the man to be caught and charges to be filed.
Channel 2's sister station WSOC-TV in Charlotte has learned that a police report has been filed.
The Panthers announced Friday officials identified the man seen in the video.
“We have reviewed video tape of the incident and have identified the perpetrator. We are working with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department to pursue charges to the fullest extent of the law," Panthers officials released in a statement. "The Carolina Panthers are committed to a fan-friendly and family-friendly stadium experience. The behavior exhibited by the perpetrator is unacceptable and will not be condoned at Bank of America Stadium.”
