JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Parents having tea with their children is a sweet image for anyone to see, but when your dad is a cop, the image is especially striking.
On Tuesday, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office shared a photo of one of their own, JSO Officer McCullough, having tea with his toddler who was wearing a fluffy pink dress.
It's the latest photo tagged in the #behindthebadge photo series, a local initiative to humanize officers behind their badge in the wake of police brutality.
The photos of JSO officers usually feature an officer and an interesting fact about them that sets them a part from their position, which is written on a white piece of paper.
Other police departments nationwide have used a similar method to display their officers, like the San Antonio Police Department and Clinton Police Department.
JSO has previously organized other events as a way to build trust in the community, like the Coffee with a Cop events.
