HOUSTON — A group of people armed with a gun tried to enter a Houston Popeyes restaurant and demand chicken sandwiches, police said.
A group of two women, three men and a baby went through the restaurant's drive-thru in a black SUV and ordered chicken sandwiches, KTRK-TV reported. When employees said the sandwiches were sold out, the group reportedly became angry and tried to enter the restaurant.
A man in the group pulled a gun on the employees while demanding chicken sandwiches, police said.
The employees were able to lock the group out of the restaurant and call police. The suspects fled before police arrived.
There were no injuries in the incident, police told KHOU-TV.
