DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A 10-year-old girl died after she fell off a ride at a New Jersey festival, police confirmed Sunday.
According to New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan, the girl fell off the ride at the Deerfield Township Harvest Festival about 6 p.m. Saturday, WCAU reported
The girl was taken to an area hospital, where officials confirmed she died Sunday morning, WPVI reported.
Neither festival officials nor police confirmed which ride the girl fell from, WCAU reported. However, one witness told WPVI the child fell off the Extreme ride.

On its Facebook page, festival officials said the parade scheduled for Sunday was canceled, but other activities would continue.
It was not known whether that schedule had changed after the girl's death was announced, WCAU reported.
