The rapper discussed her plans with People magazine and explained she plans on celebrating with Georgia native Offset and their daughter, Kulture, in the state's capital.

"I'm really excited," she said. "I'm going to Atlanta. I spend it with Offset's family."

But the Migos rapper’s family won’t allow her to make a key dish that often divides clans on the holiday.

“I think I could do a really good mac and cheese,” she told the publication, even as she indicated she has not cooked the dish before. “I don’t play with my mac and cheese either, so I feel like if I’m gonna go in and do it, I’m gonna do it good. But I don’t think they’re gonna trust me enough.”

Still, Cardi is willing to make something if the family wished for it.

“I mean if y’all want me to cook a dish, I’ll do it. But I don’t guarantee it.”

One thing the rapper can guarantee, however, is how involved her 1-year-old, Kulture, will be in the festivities. Cardi noted she's "excited to see her with her siblings," which include brothers Jordan and Justin, and sister Kalea, each from Offset's three past relationships.

“It’s gonna be fun,” Cardi said. “A lot of open space down there in Atlanta so I can’t wait.”

Both Cardi and Offset have been open about their fondness for their daughter. Offset featured his youngest child and her siblings on the cover of his album, "Father of 4." Meanwhile, Cardi spared no expense when she dropped $80,000 on jewelry for Kulture — all before she turned 1.

“Just spent a bag on my daughter, you know a bad (expletive) gonna spoil haa. If I’m iced out my daughter gotta be too. YEUP IM BRAGGING CAUSE I BUST MY (expletive) TO DO SO,” the star wrote in a since-deleted May Instagram post.
