    TRUCKEE, Calif. -

Maybe the pick-a-nick basket wasn't enough for Yogi.

A bear broke into a cabin in Truckee, California, over the weekend and raided the refrigerator, looking for a midnight snack, CNN reported.

The thing is: The bear wasn't alone.

Two teens were at the cabin watching TV when they heard a noise in the kitchen.

"I heard footsteps, and then I heard Tupperware being opened really loudly and aggressively. The fridge started to beep because it was open too long," Hayes Sherman told CNN.

The family's surveillance camera caught the bear digging through its bruin buffet.

In the end, Sherman told CNN,  the bear broke a plastic container to get to taco meat, and then ate two pints of Ben and Jerry's ice cream and some crackers.

The two teens went out the sliding glass door and tried to hold it shut as the bear banged against it while Sherman called his mother, who was sleeping upstairs.

"I whispered to her, 'Mom, there's a bear in the house. Don't come downstairs," Sherman told CNN.

Eventually, help arrived after Sherman called 911. Deputy Allyson Prero, of the Placer County Sheriff's Office, opened the front door and let the bear out of the house.

So how did the bear get inside? The teens left the garage door open and they said they will not do that again, CNN reported.
