Every day Bill Savidge heads to the McDonald's for coffee and to work on his second, KXAS reported.

His story changed around 11 a.m. Wednesday.

A 6-foot-tall bald man, with a tattooed face walked in and started yelling at the manager. Savidge waited for the commotion to calm down before he went to the counter for a refill.

"He turned around and got in my face and said, 'What are you here for, you want some of this too?'" Savidge told KXAS. "I said, 'What are you trying to do, pick a fight with an 86-year-old?' He said, 'I don't care if you're 106,' and that's when he tried to punch me."

Savidge blocked the punch and gave the man a bear hug to restrict his movement and avoid another punch.

"I was still on my feet and I wasn't getting hurt,” Savidge told KXAS. “Well that really made him mad because then he finally had enough leverage, he picked me up sort of and threw me against this big wooden container they put trays on, trash container."

The man then fled the scene. Fort Worth police are searching for him for on charges of elder assault, KXAS reported.

"Well I want him prosecuted,” Savidge said. “If he'd had a knife or a gun he could have killed people and he would have, I'm sure."
