• Sunday showers drench metro Atlanta

ATLANTA - Periods of showers and storms will continue through Sunday afternoon and evening hours.

Meteorologist Brad Nitz says says high temperatures will peak at about 83 degrees, before dropping overnight to a low of 68. Showers will linger into Monday morning, before clearing out Monday afternoon.

“We’ll be dodging passing showers and storms” throughout the rest of Sunday into Monday, Nitz said.

The sunshine will move in late Monday and hang around through Wednesday. Showers will return Thursday. Temperatures will stay in the 80s.
