GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police in Gwinnett County said a registered sex offender has been arrested on armed robbery charges.
Police arrested Maurice Brooks Tuesday after they responded to a 911 call about a robbery at a Family Dollar store in Lilburn.
Authorities said Brooks and two others climbed into the store through the roof and held up employees.
Officers said they found the 25-year-old hiding in some nearby woods with the bag of cash.
