Minute-by-minute: Day 10 of the Ross Harris hot car death trial

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — It’s been more than two years since 22-month-old Cooper Harris died in the back seat of a hot SUV outside a Cobb County office building.

His father, Ross Harris, is now on trial for his death.

4:15 p.m. Court adjourns for the day. Will resume at 8:30 a.m. Friday.

4:13 p.m. Defense says Meadows wrote Harris a letter after his arrest and asked his attorneys to give it to him. In the letter, she says she knows how much he adored Cooper.

4:11 p.m. Meadows said they didn't have plans to be together, but Harris had talked about it. Defense says she never told them that before and insinuates she is lying because she's angry with Harris about the other women. Meadows says her anger doesn't change the facts.

4:10 p.m. Meadows says Harris told her that besides his wife she was the only one and that there were no other girls. She says Harris told her he loved her every day.

4:07 p.m. Meadows reads text message Harris sent her in 2013 saying that if it weren't for Cooper he would have left Leanna by now.

3:50 p.m. Defense reads through chats between Meadows and Harris from May 28, 2014 until June 18, 2014.

3:40 p.m. Meadows says she considered Harris her best friend. He helped her through several personal problems.

3:33 p.m. Defense says Harris told her he would leave Leanna but he had Cooper and he loved his child more than anything. They say Harris told Meadows he wouldn't do that to Cooper because it would hurt him.

3:01 p.m. Meadows says on June 18, 2014 at 5:46 a.m. Harris messaged her one last time.

2:47 p.m. Meadows says when she started dating someone new in March 2014 communication became less frequent with Harris, but Harris continued to message her and tell her he loved her.

2:37 p.m. Meadows says Harris complained about his marriage about once a week. Meadows said he told her if it wasn't for Cooper he would leave Leanna.

2:29 p.m. Meadows says Harris told her he and his wife were having problems. She says he told her there were financial problems, family problems and that their marriage was falling apart. She says he always talked about how much he loved his son.

2:26 p.m. Meadows said she met Harris in person in August 2013. They kissed but nothing else happened. It was the only time they ever met in person.

2:25 p.m. Meadows says Harris told her about his wife and child while playing the game two lies and a truth.

2:23 p.m. Meadows says she fell in love with Harris. She says Harris told her he loved her as well.

2:22 p.m. Meadows says she thought Harris was single and he never mentioned his son. She says they talked on the phone, texted and messaged in the application Kik.

2:19 p.m. State calls Jaynie Meadows to the stand. She says she met Harris on the dating app Scout and began talking with him in May 2013.

2:10 p.m. Smith says Harris had mentioned Cooper to her.

2:03 p.m. Smith says they had a sexual conversation the morning of June 18, 2014.

2:00 p.m. Smith says Harris told her he had problems in the bedroom with his wife.

1:56 p.m. Smith says she and Harris met and had sex in February 2014. They met again after that.

1:53 p.m. State calls Elizabeth Smith to the stand. Smith says she met Harris online and talked with him daily on the application Kik. Their conversations were often times sexual.

1:40 p.m. Sims says she tried to stop having conversations with Harris but he kept messaging her.

1:32 p.m. Sims says she tried to have non-sexual conversations with Harris but he would blow them off. Sims says she deleted Kik in June 2014.

1:27 p.m Court resumes. State calls Molly Sims to the stand. Sims chatted with Harris on the applications Scout and Kik in 2013 and 2014. She says some conversations were sexual.

11:48 a.m. Swindell says Harris never mentioned his wife or son when they began talking again in May 2014.

11:47 a.m. Swindell says she's embarrassed about her interactions with Harris. She says she was 18 and he was 26 when their chats began.

11:28 a.m. Swindell says she had a sexual conversation with Harris on June 18, 2014.

11:18 a.m. Swindell says she met with Harris in 2012. She says he picked her up from her dorm room, drove to a back road and had a sexual encounter with him.

11:16 a.m. State calls Alexandra Swindell to the stand. Swindell says she had sexual conversations with Harris on the applications Scout and Kik.

11:13 a.m. Prosecutors show a sexually explicit conversation that they say Harris was having with a woman while at Chick-fil-A with his son.

11:09 a.m. Smith says he didn't find any applications on Harris' phone that delete their own content and that there is no evidence that Harris deleted anything from his phone. The defense said just because it's not on the report, it doesn't mean Harris deleted it.

10:50 a.m. Prosecution says phone records show no searches before June 17, 2014, insinuating that Harris may have deleted parts of his search history.

10:48 a.m. Prosecutors say Harris sent a message in which he mentioned his son at 9:15 that morning, just minutes before he arrived at work.

10:40 a.m. Prosecutors say Harris looked at the weather the day before his son's death and searched on Google, "Why are hot and humid days often hazy?"

9:55 a.m. Harris tears up as defense shows a photo of Cooper sleeping that was taken a week before his death.

9:52 a.m. Defense shows Harris sent his wife a message at 3 that afternoon asking his wife "When are you getting my buddy?"

9:48 a.m. Defense shows conversation the morning of Cooper's death in which Harris says "My breaking point is pretty low right now." Points out there is no reference to his son in that post.

9:45 a.m. Defense says Harris had a conversation about his son that morning, telling a woman "He's awesome."

9:27 a.m. Defense goes through several other Whisper chats from the morning of Cooper's death. They point out that the chats aren't sexual in nature, don't mention a child-free life or show any animosity for his son.

9:22 a.m. Defense looks at Whisper posts Harris made the morning of Cooper's death. Smith says there appeared to be "significant sexual content" in the chats.

9:11 a.m. Defense focuses on article Harris looked at the morning of Cooper's death titled, "Why are hot and humid days often hazy?" Defense says that article doesn't predict weather or show expected temperature for the day.

9:05 a.m. Cross-examination continues to look at Harris' phone records, including chats and search history.
