Pregnant Woman Dies In Neck Stabbing

ATHENS, Ga. — Clarke County investigators are searching for at least two people responsible for stabbing an Athens store clerk to death.

WSB-TV Kejuan Charde, Tekaya Hall Kejuan Charde Hall and daughter, Tekaya The victim, 25-year-old Kejuan Charde Hall, was stabbed in the neck at the Golden Pantry shell station on Atlanta Highway, Athens-Clarke County police Capt. Clarence Holeman said. Family members said she was two months pregnant.

Holeman said a customer found Hall's body at about 11 p.m. on Thursday. Channel 2's Kerry Kavanaugh was at the scene Friday morning, where police and Georgia Bureau of Investigation officials combed the property for evidence. They said the killers got away with surveillance video. Police said they have no motive for the stabbing.

"We're not sure if it's a robbery or something personal. We're looking at all avenues," Holeman said.

Family members were desperate for answers, for their sake, and for Hall's young daughter.

WSB-TV Hall family Family members mourn the loss of the slain mother. "She don't deserve it. She ain't nothing but 8 years old," said Hall's brother, Hykeem.
