• Police: Driver Slams Stolen Truck Into CVS

    ATLANTA - Atlanta police officials said officers are investigating after a driver slammed a truck into a CVS store in an attempt to take the ATM.

    Police said the driver of a 1994 Ford Ranger pickup truck was driven through the front of a CVS store on Piedmont Road just after 5 a.m. Sunday.

    Police said the pickup truck had been reported stolen.

    Officials said investigators believe the driver was attempting to steal an ATM inside the store. The driver was unsuccessful.

    Police said the front of the business and the stolen truck were severely damaged.

    No arrests have been made.
