ROSWELL, Ga. — Police in Roswell issued simple battery warrants for a mother accused of taking a child from school without permission.
Officers said the 5-year-old girl's biological mother pushed two workers at the Goddard School on Holcomb Bridge Road on Friday before taking her.
The girl's father has legal custody.
Investigators said officers continue to look for the girl, but they do not believe she is in any danger.
Police said the mom lives in Virginia and apparently came to Roswell to take the child.
