MARTA bus driver stabbed

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga.,None — A MARTA bus driver is recovering after she was stabbed early Wednesday morning.

The driver was stabbed near the intersection of Green Forest Drive and Gay Drive in DeKalb County while she was on duty early Wednesday morning, a MARTA representative said.

A MARTA spokesperson said it appeared someone tried to rob the woman.

The driver was taken to Atlanta Medical Center where she was treated and released, officials said.

Police said officers are working on a description of the attacker.
