Woman warns others after noticing man exposing himself at popular park

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A Gwinnett County woman says she was jogging in a metro Atlanta park when she got quite a disturbing shock. She noticed a man exposing himself in Rabbit Hill Park in Dacula.

Zeola Stallings told Channel 2 Action News she was jogging right along a pond when she looked up and saw the man exposed from the waist down.

“I was really shook,” she said. “When he noticed that I noticed that he had himself exposed, he had this grin on his face, like that’s exactly what he wanted -- to get a reaction out of me.”

Tuesday, Channel 2’s Audrey Washington called Gwinnett County police. Officials told her they got the report Monday at around 5 p.m. and immediately drove out to the park to try to find the man, but, so far, no luck.

“There was someone in the park that could potentially be harmful to other women in the park,” Stallings said.

Stallings said she had never seen the man before but did her best to warn other joggers.

“I was like, ‘Look, I don’t know what he’s up to, but he exposed himself, so be careful,’” she said.

The man is described as being in his early 20s, about 5 feet, 5 inches, 150 pounds, with black hair, and wearing camouflage pants.

Police said they will continue to search for the man at the park.
