Sunny but cool weekend ahead

ATLANTA — Friday brought a big shift in the weather. At one point Thursday, temperatures hovered around 70 degrees across the metro.

But a cold front moved in, cleared out all the rain we had, and then dropped temperatures significantly by Friday morning.

Temperatures only made it into the 50s Friday, and will stay that way throughout the weekend.
