OCONEE COUNTY, Ga. - A Walmart manager was arrested Monday after police say he used his cellphone to take photos underneath a woman’s dress while she shopped.

Police said Jonathan Luis Perez followed a woman inside the Walmart on Epps Bridge Parkway in Oconee County Monday around 6:30 p.m.

According to police, the woman was shopping with her daughter and said the man appeared to be scanning items near her. She then noticed that he put the phone under her dress and that it was in recording mode.

She grabbed the phone and called police. Police said they found photos and videos on the phone.

Channel 2's Tyisha Fernandes spoke to customers who said they were concerned about the incident.

"He was a manager? It's kind of disgusting that we live in a world where people do that," Brittany Womack said. "I couldn't imagine having to deal with anything like that."

Walmart sent a statement saying, "We value the security of everyone who shops with us and will not tolerate the actions described in these allegations. The associate will remain suspended as we work with law enforcement on their investigation."

"If it's true, he should be fired and prosecuted. No one should have to go through that," Walmart customer Ethan Womack said.

Perez has been charged with using a device to record underneath clothing. He has bonded out of jail.
