ATLANTA - Channel 2 Action News is getting reports of damage caused by storms throughout Sunday.
Many parts of north Georgia experienced rain, thunderstorms and tornado watches and warnings, leaving thousands of families without power.
All tornado warnings expired by 10 p.m.
People were left cleaning up in areas like Cobb and Gwinnett counties, and our Channel 2 Action News crew spotted trees down across the area.
A tree crashed down in the middle of Habersham Ridge just before 1 p.m. Sunday. No one was hurt and fire officials went out to put up caution tape, but the tree was still there hours later.
By Sunday night, crews finally arrived, chopped up the tree and got it out of the road.
