Toddler thrown from flipped car in Rockdale

ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. — A 3-year-old was thrown from a car that crashed in Rockdale County on Friday morning, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened on Interstate 20 westbound between Sigman Road and West Avenue. The toddler was in the car with several teens when it flipped over, Sheriff's Office spokesman Michael Camp said.

A total of five people were taken to Atlanta-area hospitals.

The extent of injuries is unclear, but there were no other cars involved in the crash.
