Teacher, husband create music video to inspire metro students during quarantine

A Barrow County schoolteacher and her husband are showing her students how to get creative while under quarantine. They just produced a music video.

Cathy Williamson says there’s a lesson in it all.

“Find your passion. Find your passion and go with it!”

Cathy, or Cat for short, and her husband Bob -- who was actually in show business back in the day -- make beautiful music together.

"Well, we were quarantined. So we didn’t have a whole lot to do,” Bob said.

So they spent two weeks producing a music video called “Cat and Bob, Come Together”---a cover of the Beatles tune.

It’s now all the rage on their social media accounts. Even Cat’s students love it.

“They’ve all seen it. It’s just been really fun.”

IN THIS 2GETHER:

Much of it was shot outside, but it didn’t wake the neighbors.

"The only problem we had was dogs barking. We had to cancel it for a bit until they finished their barking,” Bob said.

The musical couple hopes one day the grandkids will appreciate their take on this Lennon and McCartney classic.

Who knows. The video might go viral.

“To MTV? I don’t think MTV would want anything to do with us old folks! Maybe MTV senior, “ Cat and Bob said.
