    Updated:

HENRY COUNTY, Ga. - On July 16, 2013 at 1045 hours an elderly female victim who was at Goodwill, 250 Jonesboro Rd., McDonough, was approached by an unknown female who started a conversation with her.

A few minutes later a second female came up to the two women stating she had found a large sum of money and wanted them to help her claim the money for an equal share.

The second female persuaded the victim to drive her to Walgreens, 204 Jonesboro Rd, McDonough, to turn the money in to her boss. The first female followed behind them in her vehicle. When the females attempted to get the victim to obtain $10,000 and return, she realized the whole situation was a scam and told the second female to get out of her car.

A short time later the elderly female discovered that her wallet had been stolen.

Anyone with information identifying the suspects, please contact Detective Swanson at the Henry County Police Department.
