ATLANTA — Atlanta’s most recognized holiday tradition celebrates its 70th year and Channel 2 WSB-TV is proud to bring it into homes across North Georgia.
Viewers are invited to join Channel 2, Macy’s and some very special guests to kick off the holiday season with music, fireworks and the lighting of Macy’s Great Tree.
“The Great Tree Lighting is a big tradition and this is a big year. We are so proud to celebrate 70 seasons of holiday memories, strengthening families, friends and bringing communities together,” said Tim McVay, Vice President and General Manager of Channel 2 WSB-TV.

The holiday celebration will be capped off with the lighting of Macy’s iconic great tree and an epic display of dazzling fireworks.
