Porch pirate snatches up as many packages as he can from Griffin house

GRIFFIN, Ga. — The search is on for a man who raided the porch of a Griffin home of several packages earlier this week.

Surveillance video from a house on W. Poplar Rd. captured the man collecting packages until he can’t hold any more on Sunday.

Video shows the suspect reaching into a box that had been delivered that day and removing at least four items.

Griffin police say the man then ran from the house with the packages.

Officers describe the man as being between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches with a thin build. He’s wearing a T-shirt with a motorcycle on the back with the words, “Old Guys Rule.”
