Woman killed, another injured in crash involving Coca-Cola truck

Channel 2 Action News has learned a 31-year-old woman was killed in the accident.

SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities are investigating after a woman was killed in a crash involving a Coca-Cola truck Tuesday evening in South Fulton County.

The crash was reported just before 5 p.m. on South Fulton Parkway at Rivertown Road.

Investigators told Channel 2 Action News that a Cadillac collided with a Coca-Cola truck and a tow truck after failing to stop for a stop sign and entered the north lanes of South Fulton Parkway.

Once in the north lanes, the Cadillac was struck on its driver's side by the commercial cars, according to authorities.

The driver of the Cadillac, Brenda M. Stiggers, 71, was pronounced dead on the scene and a 13-year-old is in critical condition.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to Piedmont Newman. His or her condition hasn't been released.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident.
