SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Police are investigating a shooting that injured a teenage girl.
Investigators said a 14-year-old girl was shot in the back along Topaz Trail in south Fulton County.
Authorities said the teen was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said they believe the shooting happened during a drive-by. They do not know if the 14-year-old lived in the neighborhood or was just visiting.

A neighbor told Channel 2's Nicole Carr that the gunfire lasted only a minute.
"It was very quick, but loud and a lot," the neighbor said. "There were over 32 casings of bullets that were on the ground. And I just noticed they were taking a young girl away in an ambulance."
Police said they have no information on suspects and no pending arrests.
"You know, with the children living around here, you just don't feel safe," the neighbor said.
