• Sneiderman family settles wrongful death case against widow

    Updated:

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Channel 2 Action News has learned the family of Dunwoody day care murder victim Rusty Sneiderman has settled the wrongful death case against his widow.

A judge signed the consent order Tuesday releasing the freeze on $2 million in life insurance money, in light of a confidential settlement.

Rusty's brother, Steve Sneiderman, sued his sister-in-law Andrea after her boss was convicted of murdering Rusty.

Andrea is serving a prison sentence for lying about an affair with the killer.

Steve sued in an effort to preserve the insurance money for Rusty's children. His attorney would not disclose the terms of the settlement.
