Triple Team Traffic's Mark Arum had live coverage of the police blocking the intersection on Channel 2 Action News This Morning. Crews reopened the road around 9:30 a.m.

Police said a 23-year-old was shot multiple times and taken to Atlanta Medical Center in serious condition.

Investigators said there were multiple shell casings in the area and at least 18 bullets were fired.

Police are searching for a dark-colored SUV seen leaving the area.

"I was standing right there when I almost got hit by a bullet," a witness told Channel 2's Audrey Washington.

He said bullets flew through the air and whipped past their heads.

“The bullets started coming through and I crawled through the club," he said.

People who were inside the One Cigar Bar and Lounge got down and waited for the gunfire to finally stop.

“When I heard gunshots it’s a whole other sound, so I didn’t hear voices, I heard bullets and I saw bodies falling," said a person who wished to remain anonymous.

No one else was hurt.

Now, the investigation turns to the surveillance cameras in the area. Police hope video will lead to more clues in the case.
