ATLANTA — The scattered showers and storms that rolled through the metro and north Georgia throughout the afternoon will move out this evening.

More tropical air will continue to move up from the south, bringing more rain and storms to the area on Wednesday.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Wednesday will start out cloudy and muggy
  • By midday, isolated showers and storms will start to develop
  • The coverage and intensity of the storms will increase throughout the afternoon
