Reward increased in deadly Barcelona restaurant robbery

Chelsea Beller

ATLANTA — Atlanta police said the reward to find the killers of a popular restaurant manager has increased to $33,000.

Chelsea Beller, 29, was closing up at Barcelona Wine Bar in West Midtown when several armed robbers stormed into the restaurant, tied up employees with electrical tape and then led Beller, the manager, to the safe upstairs. They then shot her and rushed out of the restaurant.

Investigators believe at least one of the killers may have suffered serious cuts from a razor wire fence after leaving the scene in a carjacked vehicle.

The reward money, raised largely by private donors, is facilitated through Crime Stoppers Atlanta. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 404-577-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous and are not required to testify in a trial, should the tip lead to an arrest and indictment.
