Potential neutral site game between Bills and Chiefs in Atlanta seeing high demand, NFL says

ATLANTA — The possible neutral site AFC Championship Game between the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs that would take place in Atlanta is seeing ‘extraordinary demand,’ according to the National Football League.

Tickets were released for the matchup earlier this week which would only take place if the Bills defeat the Cincinnati Bengals in their Divisional Round matchup this Sunday and if the Chiefs defeat the Jaguars in their matchup.

Both the Bills and Falcons gave season ticket members who previously opted-in to purchase AFC Championship Game tickets in Buffalo or Kansas City the priority to purchase tickets at a preferred rate. More than 50,000 tickets were purchased by these season ticket members in the first 24 hours of the game’s announcement.

The NFL says if the game happens, Bills fans will be seated behind the team’s bench, and Chiefs fans will be seated behind the Kansas City bench.

The NFL says will announce any updated pre-sale or general on-sale opportunities, if tickets are available, at a later date.

If this matchup doesn’t happen, any tickets purchased will automatically be refunded to the original payment method.
