• Man in custody after Norcross SWAT standoff


    GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Channel 2 Action News has received more information about a “barricaded person situation” in Norcross.

    The incident happened Sunday afternoon at the Autumn Trace apartment complex on September Morning off Autumn Trace Drive.

    It appears the situation stemmed from a domestic dispute, Gwinnett police said.

    After several hours of negotiations with SWAT and police officers, the man, identified as Eugene Clemons, walked out of his apartment and surrendered to authorities.

    Clemons has been charged with simple battery and pointing a pistol at another arising from the domestic dispute.

    No one was injured.
