• Police: Son stabs mother after argument in Johns Creek


    JOHNS CREEK, Ga. - Police told Channel 2 Action News that a domestic disturbance at a Johns Creek home ended with a woman being stabbed.

    Investigators were called out to Ogechee Drive in Johns Creek late Thursday afternoon where police said

    Andre Ottey, 33, stabbed his mother multiple times in the abdomen, neck and arm.

    Despite the multiple wounds, investigators said the mother’s injuries we not life-threatening. She was taken to North Fulton Hospital, according to police.

    Police said Ottey has a history of mental issues and police have been called to the address many times before. Investigators said in one case, Ottey head-butted an officer.
