GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A Gwinnett County exotic pet store owner says a recent robbery has hit the family business hard. The robbery happened midafternoon last Thursday at Reigning Reptiles in Buford.

Owner Cindy Moore says two men came in. She says while one man distracted a worker, the other man stole three Peruvian red-tail boas. She says they are each valued between $400 to $700.

Moore shared video of the men on Facebook hoping that will lead to the arrest of the robbers. She says the post has been shared 30,000 times. She has heard of at least four other metro Atlanta pet stores getting robbed in the past year. She says every penny counts in her family-run business and says the robbery hurt. She says they also view the snakes as their pets while under their care.

The men took off in a dark blue Ford Crown Victoria. If you have any information about the thieves you are asked to call Gwinnett County Police at 770-513-5000.
