    Updated:

CLARKE COUNTY, Ga - Athens Clarke County police responded to a complaint of a peeping Tom at Athens Technical College.

Police say a 29-year-old woman said she went to a restroom and could hear someone else enter the restroom stall next to her. She said that, as she was using the restroom, she saw a black man looking over the stall wall.

The woman said he ran away after she screamed at him.

A witness driving through a parking lot of the campus saw the suspect run from the building and had to slam on her brakes to keep from hitting him, police said.

She said the criminal looked like he was in his 20s, wore a black beret-style hat. The victim described him as wearing black shoes with red lines on him. He also carried a backpack.

The criminal was last seen running toward Hull Road.
