• Police investigate deadly crash on Camp Creek Parkway

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Police are investigating a deadly crash in south Fulton County involving a tractor-trailer and two cars.

A Channel 2 Action News photographer shot video of the wreck that happened on Camp Creek Parkway and Butner Road on Tuesday morning.

According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office, 22-year-old Shomari Kefentse, of College Park, was killed in the crash. County police said the tractor-trailer ran through a red light and slammed into a Toyota carrying Kefentse. The tractor-trailer then struck two other cars, police said.

Another unnamed driver was hospitalized in serious condition.

Neighbors said the intersection is crash-prone.

“You can drive up there now and see debris from an accident,” said Courtney Olivari, who owns a cake shop nearby.

She said she often sees drivers speeding through the area.
