HALL COUNTY, Ga. — Hall County deputies say a man who was barricaded inside a home in Murrayville has surrendered to police.
Channel 2′s Tom Regan was at the scene around 4 p.m. when a fire broke out at the home the man was hiding in. Firefighters put out the flames and minutes later, Channel 2 Action News filmed a man being put into the back of a patrol car in handcuffs.
No one was injured in the incident. Deputies have not released the name of the suspect.
Earlier in the day, deputies evacuated nearby homes on Barker’s Bend Drive and Underwood Road as they worked to coax the man out of the home.

Regan talked to neighbors, who said it was a strange sight for the area.
“I think it’s scary. I pray the Lord will step in and take care of it,” one woman said.
