Man with gun arrested for loitering at elementary school

ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga.- — Conyers police say they arrested a man who was spotted with a gun lingering on the campus of an elementary school.

Officers said 53-year-old Timothy Alan Wells was seen loitering around Pine Street Elementary School around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. It was determined that Wells had a gun in his possession while on the school’s campus.

Wells may have been dumpster diving, according to authorities.

Investigators were able to track Wells to his home on the 1200 block of Cardinal Road. He was arrested and booked at the Rockdale County Jail.
